The 42-year-old added:" I have great confidence in all players, as they realize the great responsibility that rests upon them, and we have worked to raise concentration levels during the last period that witnessed the return of some injured players, which will contribute to strengthening the team’s strength.".

The North coach concluded his remarks: "We know very well the strength of the opponent and his ambitions to win, and as for us, we focused on some points and we will try to play our way and we have the ability to achieve the desired result thanks to the great determination that I felt from everyone in the team.".

Al-Ahly ranks seventh in the league standings with 21 points, while Al-Shamal comes tenth with 14 points, one point ahead of Umm Salal, the eleventh-placed, and 5 points ahead of Al-Sailiya, the last-placed.
