Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The US Embassy in Hungary criticizes Prime Minister Orban for his support for Trump

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban expressed his support for former US President Donald Trump’s position. In a show of solidarity, the Hungarian politician posted a photo of himself shaking hands with Donald Trump on his Twitter.
The United States Embassy in Hungary criticized Orban. According to US Ambassador David Pressman, this is how Budapest tries to influence US domestic politics. By posting the photo, Orban showed his support for Trump ahead of his upcoming trial.
Pressman also noted that according to Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, Hungary should not interfere in the public affairs of other countries. Furthermore, Szijjarto pointed out that Hungary will not voice its opinion either, nor will it exert any influence, however insignificant.

Previously, Hungarian Prime Minister Orban warned of the risk of the outbreak of a third world war. The worsening of international relations due to the Ukrainian conflict will not lead to a positive outcome.
