Exceptional competitions at the conclusion of the Qatar Drift Championship

In the presence of a crowd filled with the stands of the drift circuit of the Qatar Racing Club for cars and motorcycles, the third and final round of the Qatar Drift Championship, which is being held under the generous patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Club, concluded in the early hours of Saturday morning, and witnessed a wide participation of fans of this sport. Those in Qatar, in addition to the Gulf participation, were the strongest among the three rounds in the current season’s championship. The excitement was present and strong during the competitions of this round and continued until the final confrontation, as a result of which the identity of the champion of the current season was determined. Also, the halls of the club witnessed, on the sidelines of the final round competitions, a large number of classic cars gathered in a distinguished carnival that amazed the audience and brought them back to the memories of the beautiful time. In the details of the third round, the qualifying trials, which took place on Saturday, witnessed a fierce competition, as a result of which Al-Amiri was able, as usual, to occupy the first place, adding five important points to his credit as leader of the general standings of the championship. As for the contestant, Salem Al-Sarraf, in second place, while Al-Amiri’s most prominent competitor for the title of the current season, Masir Abu Shaybah, in turn finished those trials in third place, to obtain two points, which made him 7 points away from Al-Amri before the start of the elimination competitions, at a time when the fourth place point went to the Qatari contestant Saud Attia. According to the results of those experiments, the contestants were distributed to the table of elimination confrontations, which in the first round numbered eight confrontations, at the end of which Al-Amri, Al-Sarraf, Abu Shaybah and Al-Attiyah qualified, and were joined by Aladdin Zarif, Ali Al-Jabsha, Abdullah Jawad and Riyadh Al-Mubsali. In the quarter-final competitions, Al-Jabsha was able to defeat Al-Attiyah, while Abu Shaybah was able to resolve the confrontation that brought him together with Al-Mabsali. tied them in two attempts. Similar to the competitions of the past two rounds, the contestants, Masir Abu Shaybah and Ahmed Al-Amri, managed to reach the first final confrontation, by defeating Ali Al-Jabsha in the first and second semi-finals, after overcoming his compatriot Salem Al-Sarraf in the second semi-final. To hold your breath before the final confrontation, as it will determine the fate of the championship, as the winner will be crowned champion of this round and will lead the general standings of the season championship. The contestant, Musir Abu Shaybah, was not successful in this final meeting, as he suffered from problems that prevented him from completing the attempt, which gave victory to Al-Amri, and he was subsequently crowned champion of the current season, thus recording his second title in a row after being crowned champion of the last season. As for the meeting to determine the third and fourth places, which brought together Salem Al-Sarraf and Ali Al-Jabsha, it ended in favor of Al-Sarraf, who climbed on the third podium for this round. As for the third place in the general standings, it went to the contestant Saud Al-Attiyah. At the conclusion of the competitions, His Excellency Sheikh Jabor bin Khalid Al Thani, Director of the Qatar Racing Club for cars and motorcycles, crowned the top three winners in the third round, before crowning the top three in the season championship.
