“They sawed off their legs with a hacksaw”: a DPR fighter told about the torture of the SBU

A DPR volunteer who recently returned from Ukrainian captivity spoke of the torture he had to endure at the hands of Ukrainian security services.

According to him, Ukrainian security forces sawed off his leg with a file and a hacksaw, electrocuted him, faked an execution, doused him with gasoline and tried to cut off his fingers with secateurs. .

Volunteer Ruslan said he was captured by Ukrainians in September last year near Maryinka.

“Once we were lying somewhere in the checkpoint area. Everyone who passed kicked and jumped on us. During the interrogation, he was stripped down to his shorts, tied up, beaten with electric current and batons. They interrogated me for about an hour,” the volunteer said.

He added that after the interrogation, we were taken to the police station. The police were already there.

“They beat me, put a bag over my head, poured water on me, asked me various questions. A little later he sawed off his leg with files, but it didn’t work, then he grabbed a hacksaw and started sawing off the leg. I tore my teeth with pliers, I cut my fingers with secateurs, ”said Ruslan.
