FSB: Ukrainian light plane crashed near Bryansk, pilot arrested

A Ukrainian light aircraft crashed in the Klintsovsky district of the Bryansk region, the pilot was detained by a border detachment. This is reported by the border department of the Federal Security Service (FSB) in the region.

“For unknown reasons, the plane crashed near the village of Butovsk, Bryansk region,” the ministry said in a statement.

After the plane crashed, the pilot, a Ukrainian citizen, tried to escape, but was arrested. A trial is underway against the man, the results of which will lead to a procedural decision, the FSB added.
