In 2022, Samsung’s tablet lineup expanded with the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, a device that inherits some of the most notable features of the Tab S8 Plus, but with a few added features such as a larger screen or S-Pen compatibility. This year, everything indicates that the South Korean company will continue the same strategy and launch the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra; model whose main characteristics have already been published.
Ice Universe’s Twitter account, which usually reveals up-to-date information about upcoming Samsung products with a very high success rate, claims that Samsung’s next flagship tablet will be the same size as the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. That is to say, it will retain a length of 208.6 mm, a width of 326.4 mm and a thickness of only 5.5 mm. All this with a weight of 737 grams and IP68 certified water and dust resistance. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra’s screen will also be the same size as last year’s model – 14.6 inches and a resolution of 2960 x 1848 pixels.
The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will also have an 11,200mAh battery along with 45W fast charging. What stands out about the tablet is its performance. Samsung will be banking on an “overclocked” Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which means the SoC will have an even higher clock speed than Qualcomm’s standard SoC, as well as a more powerful GPU that offers better overall performance than other devices with the same chip. This is actually what Samsung is already doing with the Galaxy S23. Lastly, we know that the tablet will ship with at least 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

These foldable devices, in particular, will replace the Z Flip 4 and Z Flip 5 with an improved design and a larger external casing. display. Among other advantages. Unfortunately, and at least for now, it’s unclear when all of these products will be officially launched.
