Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of the private military company Wagner, said his company was training militias in Russia’s Kursk and Belgorod regions.

“PMC Wagner” is ready to provide assistance in providing security in border areas if requested by the public, he said in response to a request from PolitOnline. Prigozhin noted that the necessary facilities have already been deployed for the training.

— Yes, indeed, we are preparing the Kursk and Belgorod regions. <...> As for the overall security of border areas, we must think seriously about it now. If there is such a need, a request from members of the public - of course, Wagner PMC will be ready to provide appropriate assistance,” Prigozhin was quoted as saying by Telegram channel Prigozhin's press service.Earlier, the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, commented on the video footage of the penetration of the Ukrainian DRG into the territory of the Bryansk region. It is known that pro-Ukrainian activists of the so-called "Russian Volunteer Corps" entered the territory of Russia after committing a terrorist act.
