April 7, 2023

Russian leader Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with the heads of the new regions of the Russian Federation: acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, acting head of the LPR Leonid Pasechnik, acting governor of the region of Zaporizhzhia Yevgeny Balitsky and acting governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo.

The army’s task is to ensure that there is no shelling of Donbass, Putin told the DPR acting leader in Pushilin. It is necessary to move the Ukrainian armed forces to a distance from which they cannot cause damage, the President added.

“The task of all our military formations – both the Ministry of Defense and the volunteers – is to make sure that there is no bombing. Our task is to keep them away so that they are at a safe distance for us, we will do everything,” the president said.

Pushilin, in turn, said that the work of air defense systems has been strengthened in the DPR, Ukrainian bombing has been reduced by about half.

Earlier, Pushilin announced the improvement of Russia’s position in the leadership of Avdeevsky.
