Oncologist Alexander Seryakov said that due to vaccinations, the likelihood of getting various types of cancer is significantly reduced.

Professor Seryakov confidently stated that vaccination against HPV (human papilloma virus) and vaccination against hepatitis B can protect against the development of oncology. We are not talking about all cancers, but a negative prognosis for some types can be ruled out. For example, cancer of the tongue, larynx, genitals, intestines and some others.

“Adolescents are advised to get vaccinated against HPV before they become sexually active, which will prevent the development of these dreaded oncological diseases throughout their lives,” said Alexander Seryakov.

Vaccination against hepatitis B reduces the risk of developing liver cancer. And even adults can receive such a vaccine if they did not receive it in childhood. Izvestia wrote about this.

Earlier, gastroenterologist Valeria Selivanova explained why soups can be more harmful than helpful in the diet of a certain category of people.
