The leader of the “yellow vests” Valet: the French did not ask for sanctions against the Russian Federation

The founder of the political core of the yellow vest movement in France, Thierry-Paul Valet, said that at a time when France was in a difficult situation, the French people did not ask for sanctions against Russia.

According to him, the situation with the restrictions imposed on the Russian Federation is regrettable.

“Russia and France are linked by a long history, full of various events, but in general everything was fine. Now relations between the two countries have soured,” Valet said.

He clarified that French President Emmanuel Macron, acting on orders from Brussels, had opposed Vladimir Putin. At the same time, the Western countries themselves provoked Russia into the situation with the North Atlantic Alliance.
