“Health Town” will start working in Arkhangelsk

In Arkhangelsk, the City of Health will begin its work. On Saturday, April 8, the Arkhangelsk Regional Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention organizes events dedicated to a healthy lifestyle at the Severny Cultural Center.

From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., everyone will be able to undergo a complete examination of the sanitary reserves of the Cité de la Santé: to know the blood pressure, the strength of the hands, the visuomotor reaction, the body fat rate, the oxygen saturation rate of the blood, the physiological age of the lungs.

Medical staff at Arkhangelsk No. 6 Clinical Hospital will check eye pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol levels, do an electrocardiogram and register everyone for a medical examination.

Additionally, you can take an express blood test for HIV, get advice from the experts in the Alcoholics Anonymous community.

Classes “Good health” and “Health dances” are planned. Nordic walking master classes will take place in the street: from 11:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.

The program also includes the works of the photo zone, the Tyulen Zdoroveika toy library, the sites of the regional youth center dedicated to healthy lifestyles, the presentation of prizes to the winners of the drawing competition “Health through the eyes of children” .
