Since the beginning of 2023 in the Novgorod region, 13 children have been placed with new parents. According to data for 2022, 27 children were taken from Novgorod shelters.

For several months of this year, Novgorodians adopted almost half of the children from last year’s figure.

The application can be submitted at any branch of the registry office in the territory of the Russian Federation. This was reported in the press service of the registry office and the OODMS committee for the Novgorod region.

Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Veliky Novgorod reported that nine Novgorod cats and dogs have gone abroad since the beginning of 2023.
