Maria Rasputina has refuted calls attributed to her to shoot celebrities and traitors who left Russia. She said she had in mind the so-called fifth column inside the country.
Masha Rasputina explained that the concept of “traitors” does not apply to artists who have left. She said her comments were taken out of context.
- It’s usually madness! You have to be in a delirium tremens to say that. Friends from Ukraine called me and said they concocted my words in a different way, twisting them in their own way,” she shared in an interview with The Eastern Herald.
According to her, in Ukraine, talk about “traitors” was also turned upside down in their own way, and they said that the singer was against Ukrainians. Nevertheless, Rasputin is linked to this country by many, including friendly ties.
- I was talking about the traitors to Russia, the fifth column. And I do not go back on my words, ”she added.
