In the capital of the Murmansk region, on Saturday, April 8, a new recycling center “Vtormatic” was opened. The point began to operate in the parking lot of the shopping center “Your” on Kolsky Prospekt.
At the Vtormatic welcome point, all interested residents and guests of the Kola Arctic will be able to hand in a number of items for processing. The list of accepted recyclable materials has already been approved. Among them were PET, HDPE and HDPE bottles for water and oil, solid bottles for household chemicals without a dispenser and cardboard.
According to the press service of the government of the Murmansk region, residents of the North will receive a cash reward for the garbage they hand over. Prices vary depending on the type of item.
Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Murmansk said that in the future they plan to use the Murmansk region recycling facility as a platform for educational events.
