For the British Royal Family, today is marked in red on their timetable. Like every year, the Windsors meet for the traditional Easter mass held at the Saint-Georges chapel. This afternoon there is a church service on the occasion of Easter Sunday and this will be when King Charles III (74) will appear with his wife Camila (75) and most of his family a little more than a month after his coronation.
Today’s Mass will serve as preparation for a historic moment for the King of England. And not only that. The religious event will be significant as it is the first time since the death of Elizabeth II. All of this in one form or another makes Charles III the main character. Therefore, the strong core of his family will accompany him, as this is one of those times when they show their covenant.
Kate and William will not miss Easter mass. A few days ago they confirmed from Kensington Palace that the Princes of Wales would attend Easter Mass. For the moment, it is not known whether they will do so accompanied by their children or not. Last year, George and Charlotte actually went to this event with their parents, while little Louis stayed at home. But given that the youngest child of William (40) and Kate Middleton (41) has attended recent family events, there is every indication the family could attend traditional mass in full force.
Those who will no longer be Prince Harry (38) and Meghan Markle (41). As usual since they were no longer part of the royal family, and although they appeared on exceptional occasions, the Dukes of Sussex will be absent from the family event. Thus, the gap that exists between them and the British royal family will again become visible. It remains to be seen whether this reflects whether they will be at the coronation of Charles III.
