For the eighth consecutive day, the activities of the eighth and final local race continued in the competitions of the purebred Arabian camel season (2022-2023), which is organized by the Camel Racing Committee for ten consecutive days on the fields of Al Sheehaniya, until the day after tomorrow / Monday / amid a large participation of fans of this heritage sport.
The competitions of Al-Anayat today during the morning period were strong, as 11 rounds were held for the age of Al-Anaya Al-Bakar and Al-Qadan (open runs) for a distance of eight kilometers, including 7 runs for the Al-Anaiya Al-Bakar, and 4 runs for Al-Anaya Al-Qadan.
The Al-Sheehaniya camel won the strongest rounds in today’s competitions, after Al-Sheehaniya won the title of the first main round of the Al-Bakr Al-Bakr Open, after occupying first place with a time of 12.25.20 minutes, while Ghazia, the king of the presidential camel, came in second place with a time of 12.26.10 minutes. While “Baraqa” camel camel came third, with a time of 12.27.36 minutes.
Al-Hakim, King of the Presidency Camel, won the title of the first main round of the two-legged open, after occupying first place with a time of 12.37.50 minutes, while Shadid, King of the Storm Camel won second place with a time of 12.38.60 minutes, while Al-Samh came King of Camel. Al Sheehaniya came in third place with a time of 12.39.46 minutes. Today’s competitions witnessed, “Nahb/ King of Hajn Presidency” topping the list of the best timings during the rounds, after he won the title of the third round dedicated to Al-Bakkar open, after recording a time of 12.23.00 minutes.
Tomorrow, Sunday, the competitions of the ninth and penultimate day of the eighth local race will continue, as the tricks and zamoul runs (public runs) will start with 18 runs during the morning period, including 10 runs for tricks, and 8 runs for zamoul.
