Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The State Duma will consider amendments to the Unified Register of Persons Subject to Military Service on Tuesday

The State Duma will consider amendments to the unified register of persons liable for military service tomorrow, April 11, said Andrei Kartapolov, head of the defense committee. According to him, the amendments assume that electronic notices will be sent in the same way as paper notices and will have the same legal force. For the rebellious, provisional measures will be introduced, which may go as far as a ban on going out and concluding transactions.

“If a person does not receive a summons or pretends not to receive one, then he will be obliged to report voluntarily to the military commissariat within two weeks at the next summons. If he does not, he will receive a notification, digitally signed by the Military Commissioner, that travel restrictions are being introduced and further restrictive measures will follow. If he does not reappear, then in 20 days this person subject to military service may lose the ability to manage transport, conclude real estate transactions, register individual entrepreneurs, take out loans, etc. said Kartapolov.

In addition, a new state special information resource will become the basis of the Unified Register of Military Registration. This will minimize the number of calls to the military registration and enlistment office to “clear data.”
