The Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani Holy Quran Competition at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs honored 1,575 winners (male and female) from citizens and residents participating in the Categories and Baraem branches in the twenty-eighth edition of the competition.
The organizing committee of the competition stated that the number of winners in the Al-Baraem branch for citizens and residents (male and female) reached 1,181 contestants, of whom 346 were citizens and 835 were residents, while 394 male and female contestants won the category category, of which 140 were male and 254 were female.
The organizing committee of the competition has allocated valuable financial rewards for all the winners among the citizens (male and female) in the categories branch, according to the appreciation in each category. , (15), (20), (25) parts. The Sheikh Jassim Qur’anic Competition allocated rewarding financial prizes for all winners in the Al-Baraem branch, citizens and residents, according to their appreciation. In this context, a ceremony honoring males was held at the Imam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab Mosque, and a ceremony honoring females was held at the headquarters of the Women’s Memorization Division in Al Waab.
During the ceremony, His Eminence Sheikh Abdullah Muhammad Al-Nemah, the imam and preacher at the Ministry of Awqaf and the head of one of the competition’s arbitration committees, said: "The greatest knowledge that God bestows upon His servants is the teaching of the Noble Qur’an, as it is the word of God, Glory be to Him, who is worshiped by its recitation. In sponsoring this blessed Quranic competition, and sponsoring the preservation of the book of God Almighty".
In his speech during the ceremony, he indicated that this competition was based on the shoulders of a good group of the people of this generous country, including organizers, arbitrators, supervisors, and administrators, and they had a share of the charity mentioned in the hadith of the Prophet: "the best amongst you are the ones who learn Qur’an and teach it to others". Sheikh Al-Nemah urged parents to take care of their children, take care of them, and teach them the Book of God, because the owner of the Qur’an puts a crown of dignity on his head, and to obtain the charity that came in the hadith of the Prophet: "A crown of dignity will be placed on his head, and his parents will be clothed with two garments that the world does not value for them, and they will say: How have we dressed this? It is said: By taking your son the Qur’an. Then it is said: Recite and ascend in the stairs and chambers of Paradise, for he is on the ascendant as long as he recites this, whether it is a hymn or a recitation.".
