Chechen Minister Dudayev considers a video with images of the execution of a serviceman an attempt at provocation
Chechen Minister of National Policy, External Relations, Press and Information Akhmed Dudayev commented on the appearance on telegram channels of videos showing the brutal killings of captured servicemen. A number of publications claimed that the victims could be members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In his Telegram channel, Dudayev wrote that the video shows patches linked to a regiment from Chechnya. At the same time, he said that employees of Chechen units do not wear such a uniform.
“Our units do not wear such military uniforms, such helmets”, writes the minister, “and, moreover, they do not wear masks”.
Dudayev considered the appearance of the video a “prank” and a “cheap attempt at provocation”. He added that no soldier from Chechnya “has anything to do with these video footage and actions” and that “we have always had a respectful attitude towards our adversaries, towards our enemies”.
