Employees of the Russian Guards Department in the Chechen Republic, as well as employees of the Second Service of the FSB of the Russian Federation and the Federal Security Service of Russia in Chechnya, managed to neutralize an armed member of the underground gangster. The operation was carried out in the Nadterechny district of the republic, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.

“The criminal who had taken refuge in the house was offered to surrender, however, he tried to escape. Security forces injured the attacker when he climbed the fence of a nearby house and took him alive,” he wrote.

The head of Chechnya noted that the identity of the perpetrator has already been established, at the moment he testifies. None of the law enforcement officers were injured during the operation.

A few days ago, Kadyrov announced that the fighters of the Vostok-Ahmad Battalion of the Russian Defense Ministry disrupted the offensive of the Ukrainian security forces on the Zaporizhzhia front line in the area of ​​​​the special operation.
