The conclusion of the Ramadan Open 9 Ball Billiards Tournament

The curtain has fallen on the 9-ball Ramadan Open Billiards Championship, which was organized by the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation for eight days, with the participation of about 78 competitors representing the countries of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Yemen, Iraq and the Philippines. The Filipino player, Kian Rota, was able to achieve the title after defeating his Qatari counterpart, Muhammad Al-Ali, with a score of 11-4 in the final match, which was strong on the part of the players, but Rota took advantage of his opponent’s mistakes and decided the match in his favor.

Rota deservedly won the title after excelling in the first rounds, which were held in four groups, with 20 players in two groups and 19 players in two groups, provided that eight players from each group qualify for the round of sixteen / 32 /. The Filipino player overcame his Qatari counterpart, Meshaal Al-Ali, with a score of (9-3) in the match that took place between them in the round of 32, then he continued his career in the tournament to defeat his Saudi opponent Abdullah Al-Qahtani, with a score of (9-1) in the final price.

In the quarter-finals, Rota was able to outperform his compatriot Ricky, with a score of 9-3, while in the semi-finals, the Filipino player continued his brilliance and defeated his opponent, Badr Al-Awadi, with a score of 9-5. The Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation organized two Ramadan tournaments in snooker and billiards as part of preparations to qualify the national team players before entering the Arab Billiards and Snooker Championship.
