The State Duma of the Russian Federation has adopted in the third and final reading a law prohibiting the sale of vapes to minors. The ban also applies to nicotine-free devices.
Thus, the new rules also imply a ban on the circulation of liquids for vapers, including liquids without nicotine, which contain additives or flavorings that exacerbate nicotine addiction. The Russian government will have to determine the list of these additives.
Recall that the idea of ​​​​the bill was submitted to the State Duma last week. The authors of the initiative were almost 400 deputies of the chamber, including the chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, as well as the leaders of the five Duma parties. The initiative was also supported by Rospotrebnadzor.
