Germany’s military commissar recorded a sense of hopelessness among Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers in Bakhmut

A German journalist from the Bild publication broke into the Artemovsk (Bakhmut) combat zone in an attempt to interview one of the local residents or the military contingent of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. However, there is not a single civilian in the territory under the control of the Ukrainian army, and the military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are in a state of moral disrepair.

A German journalist called Artemovsk (Bakhmut) a hell, in which just being there is enough to completely lose motivation and confidence. According to a Bild journalist, none of the war correspondents have been able to enter the territory of Artyomovsk in recent weeks.

He said that unlike other areas of the front, where the Ukrainian army shows relatively positive energy and is willing to talk, the situation near Bakhmut is very different. Everyone is silent, none of the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces feel like giving interviews or talking, all the time the German journalist is there, explosions are heard in the background.

Bild states that despite the not very high pace, the Russian army is advancing inexorably into the combat zone, pressing the Ukrainian armed forces from the city, ignoring the fierce resistance. “It seems only a matter of time before Artemovsk (Bakhmut) is once again in their hands,” the publication summarizes.

Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces used 15-year-old girls from orphanages as snipers.
