The Sudanese army command refuses any process of negotiation or agreement with the country’s Rapid Reaction Forces (RRF) until they end their “anarchy”. This is reported by Al-Arabiya TV channel with reference to the armed forces statement.
“There will be no dialogue or agreement with the Rapid Reaction Forces until they end their anarchy,” the channel said.
Recall that on April 15, the Palace of the Republic in the capital of Sudan, Khartoum, was captured by the Rapid Reaction Forces (RRF). It was also reported that the city’s international airport was closed. Later, the Sudanese Rapid Reaction Force announced that a battalion of the Egyptian armed forces, which was defending the Meroe air base, had surrendered.
