Chinese President Xi Jinping and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, during a meeting in Beijing, came to the conclusion that dialogue and peace negotiations are the only way to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.
According to the Heads of State, such an initiative by countries wishing to contribute to the resolution of the conflict must be supported and encouraged. Furthermore, they insist on the constructive participation of a large number of powers to “promote a political settlement” of the situation in Ukraine. China and Brazil, in turn, will continue to maintain relations regarding this moment.
Note that Luis Inacio Lula da Silva arrived in China on a state visit on April 12.
