Dhaka: A total of 48 Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leaders and workers have been sentenced to different terms of imprisonment in the case of the attack on the convoy of the then Leader of Opposition and current Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Satikhra, Bangladesh in the year 2002. Four people, including former lawyer and BNP district president Habibul Islam Habib, were sentenced to life imprisonment and 44 others to seven years in prison.
