Kathmandu: Nepal’s President Ramchandra Paudel will reach Delhi-based All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Wednesday for treatment. The media advisor to the President gave this information. President Paudel (78) was admitted to a hospital (TU Teaching Hospital) here on Tuesday for the second time within a month after complaining of shortness of breath.
Media Advisor to the President Kiran Pokharel told that Poudel will undergo treatment at AIIMS in New Delhi. According to reports, Paudel will be taken to India via air ambulance on Wednesday morning. On Tuesday, other leaders including Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka had inquired about Paudel’s health. Last week, President Paudel complained of stomach pain.
