Citizens of Naryan-Mar gathered on April 19 at the Victory Obelisk in a rally dedicated to the Day of United Actions in memory of the genocide of the Soviet people by the Nazis and their accomplices during the Great Patriotic War.

Officials from the region, representatives of public bodies and institutions took part in the rally. The head of Naryan-Mar, Oleg Belak, deputy head of economy and finance, Olga Zhukova, deputy head of interaction with state authorities and public organizations, Dmitry Anokhin, chief of staff – director of business Igor Olenitsky, chairman of the city council, Yuri Susky, and heads of municipal businesses came to honor the memory. According to the official website of the authorities of the capital of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, at the end of the rally, the participants laid burning candles and flowers.
