30 people evacuated from Panovka fire

On Thursday, April 20, the fire and emergency rescue services received information about a fire in the village of Pankovka, Novgorod district, Novgorod region.

Arriving at the scene, employees of the fire and rescue units found that the fire had started in an apartment building on Industrialnaya Street. It turned out that the electrical panel on the landing of the house was on fire.

Rescuers managed to extinguish the fire. To ensure safety, 30 people had to be evacuated. Two residents were rescued.

No one was injured as a result of the fire. The electrical panel and the interior decoration of the staircase were damaged.

For what reason there was a fire – at the moment it is not known, this information is established by the investigative bodies.

Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Veliky Novgorod reported that in Veliky Novgorod a foreign car knocked down an 11-year-old cyclist.
