The Pskov City Duma offered to install a memorial plaque on the house of artist Irina Rodnikova. This was reported to “The Eastern Herald in Pskov” in the press service of the City Duma.
Irina Rodnikova – Honored Worker of Culture of Russia, art critic, member of the Union of Artists of Russia and author of numerous scientific works. For many years she was the leading Russian specialist in the field of Pskov icon painting. Irina Rodnikova received the Labor Veterans Medal.
It is proposed to install a memorial plaque to Irina Rodnikova on the facade of the 6/8 house on Georgievskaya Street. The initiative was taken by employees of the Pskov Museum-Reserve. The proposal was considered by members of the Committee for Social Affairs, Youth Policy and Tourism of the Pskov City Duma at a meeting chaired by Natalia Melnikova on Friday, April 21.
