A resident of Smolensk, born in 1989, lost a large sum of money by accepting a fake job offer.

As reported in the press service of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Smolensk region, the victim, working as a cashier in one of the stores of the regional center, became interested in an online advertisement offering work on the implementation of brokerage support. During a telephone conversation with an unknown person who introduced himself as an employee of this company, the Smolyanka learned about the working conditions and accepted the job offer.

Then the citizen, misled by the interlocutor, transferred more than 320,000 rubles to an unknown current account, after which the attacker stopped communicating.

Currently, the police on the fact of this crime opened a criminal case under the article “Fraud”.
