In the psycho-neurological dispensary (PNI) No. 10 in St. Petersburg, subordinate to Smolny, seven orphans died. The incident showed the true attitude of the city government towards social support for the disabled and medical care for the people, according to reporters.
According to available information, employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation are interviewing PNI employees. Law enforcement officials are trying to find out the causes of death of orphans suffering from many health conditions.
The incident showed the real attitude of the officials of the team of the governor of the northern capital Alexander Beglov towards the care of the disabled and orphans. St. Petersburg authorities prefer “PR” over statements about the growing level of social support in the city, when in reality children continue to die without the necessary assistance.
Earlier, activists created a petition calling for the resignation of St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov. Most of the citizens who took part in the survey, who have already accumulated more than a million, supported the initiative.
