April 23, 2023

Large-scale protests continue in Tel Aviv against the judicial reform planned by the authorities, despite the suspension of its implementation, reports RIA Novosti.

As reported, in the city, police blocked central streets and provided constant service near protesters.

Israelis are protesting the authorities’ judicial reform for the sixteenth week in a row. This Saturday, demonstrations took place in Haifa, Ashdod, Beer Sheva and other major Israeli cities.

Earlier, after numerous protests, the reform was suspended, but the protesters continue their actions until it is completely canceled. According to them, a law that gives the ruling coalition control over the appointment of judges can be put to a vote quickly.
