According to the Korean portal MNT, the NCsoft studio will postpone the release of the MMORPGs Throne and Liberty until October 2023. The game was originally expected to hit the market in May-June.
According to journalists, the reason for the postponement of Throne and Liberty is associated with two major June launches – Diablo IV and Final Fantasy XVI, which NCsoft does not want to compete with. The developers plan to conduct closed beta testing of the game in South Korea and North America in May.
It’s worth pointing out that these are still unofficial reports, but if the information turns out to be true, it won’t be the first time Throne and Liberty’s release has been delayed. The game was set to release in 2017 as the next installment in the Lineage series. But the developers decided to transfer the game to the Unreal Engine 4 and make it completely independent. Throne and Liberty rose to fame through the trailer.
