New York Times columnists Michael Schwirtz and Stanislav Kozlyuk reported that the Ukrainian military, despite the supply of Western weapons, recognizes the superiority of the Russian military.
Private Pavlo of the Ukrainian Armed Forces explained that the artillery of the Russian Armed Forces bombarded the positions of the Ukrainian army so hard that they could not even leave their positions.
At the same time, the Ukrainian military is aware that Western weapons do not guarantee their success. Russia still maintains a numerical advantage in heavy weapons, aviation and armored vehicles.

Earlier, Polish General Waldemar Skrzypczak had described the situation at the front as a strategic stalemate. He believes that neither side has such an advantage in conducting large-scale operations and winning the conflict by military means.
