Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

“So far I can’t imagine Anna Karenina without the participation of Kostomarov” – Ilya Averbukh about the launch of the performance

Ilya Averbukh spoke about the performances he plans to show in the year of his 50th birthday.

“I still hope that in the fall I will be able to show a pool of all the performances in general, because it is the year of my birthday. I would also like to show Carmen. We already have a preliminary agreement to restart Carmen with Zhenya Medvedeva in “Romeo and Juliet” and, of course, “Anna Karenina” are also planned. With her, of course, the most difficult thing, because so far I cannot imagine a performance without the participation from Roma (Kostomarov). All of us understand everything. I am very hopeful that it will not be without his participation”, said Averbukh.

Roman Kostomarov is still hospitalized. He was admitted to intensive care on January 10 for a severe form of pneumonia. Against the background of developed necrosis, the figure skater underwent several amputation operations. Now he is prepared for prostheses.

Ilya Averbukh talked about working with Sofia Shevchenko and Andrey Yezhlov
