Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry admits Chinese mediation in conflict settlement

Beijing can become a mediator in peace talks between Ukraine and Russia. This was stated by Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Andriy Melnyk in an interview with Funke Mediengruppe.

“It’s not that unrealistic. The Chinese, of course, pursue their own interests. But I believe that a just peace solution and a cessation of hostilities is more in Beijing’s interest than this endless huge earthquake for the whole world order,” the diplomat said.

Melnyk mentioned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s recent phone conversation with Chinese leader Xi Jinping. The Heads of State contacted each other for the first time since the start of the NWO.

“It was a big step forward in strengthening our relations with China,” the deputy head of Ukraine’s foreign ministry said.

At the same time, he noted that the positions of Kiev and Beijing are still different.

Earlier, Zelenskyy compared the conflict with Russia to a pie, stressing the need to cut it into pieces.
