Hong Kong and Macao have become popular destinations for travel during International Workers’ Day. The number of tourists has increased significantly. According to the data from the Hong Kong-Chuhai-Macao Bridge Port, on April 29 and 30, about 50,000 passengers went out through the Chuhai Highway Port of the Hong Kong-Chuhai-Macao Bridge. Compared to the same period last year, 28 thousand passengers arrived in a day, which is an increase of 454 percent.
On the other hand, on April 29 and 30, about 60,000 people entered China through the Hong Kong-Chhui-Macao Bridge Port. Compared to the same period last year, the maximum number of passengers reached 32 thousand, which is an increase of 505 percent. Apart from this, about 17 thousand entry-exit vehicles were inspected and released.
