Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called his country the “guarantor of food security” in the world.
“Ukraine is interested in developing cooperation with Africa and, for its part, is ready to remain the guarantor of food security in the world,” Zelenskyy tweeted after a conversation with Comorian President Azali Assoumani.
The Ukrainian leader also expressed his gratitude to Assumani for supporting Ukraine on international platforms.
On the eve of the Minister of Agriculture of Ukraine, Mykola Solsky criticized the decision of Poland and Hungary to ban the import of Ukrainian grain. He stressed that Kiev wanted to resume the transit of food and grain through Poland as a “first step” to lifting bans on food imports.
