Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Guardiola: Erling Haaland will be better next season!

And the Manchester City manager says the 22-year-old Norwegian has the same desire to succeed as Argentina’s Lionel Messi.

It should be noted that Haaland recently managed to reach 50 goals in all competitions this season, and he also managed to score 34 Premier League goals, which is an unprecedented number, as Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole have equaled the number of 34 goals.

Today, Wednesday, Manchester City host West Ham, and Haaland is expected to score at least one goal which means he will overtake Shearer and Cole.

Guardiola believes Haaland’s constant quest to improve makes him a bigger threat, and the City boss said: “His game could improve a lot.”

“He has a desire to improve, as long as he has that he can do it. Going to work knowing you can do something better is the way to go. He has that feeling.”

“Is that enough? he asked.

And Guardiola added: “When we talk to him, he is open-minded, and he says: ‘Yes, I have to do it, I can do it better’. It’s very positive for his career.”

Guardiola stressed that “it’s not arrogance… It’s self-confidence to say I’m going to score”, according to the British Daily Mail.

The Spanish coach said: “No one can compare to Messi, Erling won’t help, but in terms of goals and mentality yes. He reached the same level in terms of goals. In almost every game he scores a goal One or two games every game, but Messi is the most complete player I’ve seen.

Guardiola added: “We think he will score a goal every game and that helps a lot.. but it’s not just about that. He gives us a lot of things, pressure power, defensive power He participated in long balls and before that we didn’t have that.”

Guardiola said it took time for Manchester City midfielders to get used to having a suitable striker.
