Official institutions that intended to hold celebrations suspended their celebrations after this circular, but many of them confirmed to “Sky News Arabia” that they suspended the events and did not cancel them completely, pending the publication of further instructions which would further clarify the details of the celebrations.
The festivities started early
Popular celebrations started early on the Jordanian street through social media platforms and holding events in various parts of the country.
Jordanian artist, Issa Al-Saqqar, released a special song on this occasion, and he said in an interview with “Sky News Arabia” that the feelings of great joy cannot be described, and the least that can be presented on this occasion “is a song that congratulates the Emir Al-Mufdi.”
And the artist, Al-Saqqar, has confirmed that he insists that there are no ownership and publication rights for the song he posted on “YouTube” and other platforms to the use of all, and everyone sings with the love of Prince Hussein.

He added that gifts and games will be presented at various parks and play facilities for children and families in various governorates, in addition to launching a series of youth empowerment initiatives in various fields to celebrate the occasion.
Invitation cards sent by the Jordanians
Along with this first celebration, Jordanians passed on invitation cards dating back to the luncheon that took place at the wedding of King Abdullah II (prince at the time), recalling the same feelings of joy they feel now.
The Royal Hashemite Court announced earlier that the marriage of Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince, to Mrs. Ragwa Khaled Al Saif will take place on the twelfth Dhu al-Qi’dah of the year 1444 AH, corresponding to the first of June 2023 AD.
