Rcb Vs Dc: Kotla awaits Kohli, Delhi will have to win at any cost to stay in the playoff race

IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore, who registered a miraculous win in the last match, would not like to take any chances in the important match of IPL on Saturday and for this the batsmen will have to perform better.

RCB’s position is better than Delhi but Faf du Plessis’s team will not want to take any chances. Delhi, on the other hand, would like to repeat the same performance after defeating the top-ranked Gujarat Titans in a low-scoring match.

Fast bowler Khaleel Ahmed, who returned after three weeks, and experienced Ishant Sharma were the architects of Delhi’s victory and kept them in the competition. After such a win, the morale of any team will be high but Delhi’s batsmen will also have to live up to the expectations.

Captain David Warner looked very disappointed with his batsmen after the last match. The Indian batsmen have particularly disappointed although Aman Hakeem Khan and Ripple Patel put up a fight in the end but it was not enough. Phil Salt has been inconsistent while Warner has not scored runs in the last three matches. The whole team has failed as a unit in batting.

Priyam Garg has not been able to walk at number three while Manish Pandey is unable to play in his familiar style. Akshar Patel batting at number six against Gujarat should be promoted.

The stadium is expected to be packed with Virat Kohli playing

The stadium is expected to be packed with Virat Kohli playing in this match. He took a long practice at the nets on Thursday and then went to the pavilion named after him. He would like to forget the clash with Gautam Gambhir after the win against Lucknow and play the best innings.

Kedar Jadhav, who was doing commentary till some time ago, has been given a chance to play in the middle of the tournament by RCB head coach Sanjay Bangar. He has been kept to strengthen the middle order. In bowling, Mohammad Siraj and Josh Hazlewood performed well in Lucknow. The same will be expected from spinners Karn Sharma and Wanindu Hasaranga.
