The sirens sounded again in Tel Aviv, Ashkelon and settlements around the Gaza Strip.
For its part, the Israeli army announced the bombardment of “two operational headquarters, 4 rocket launchers, two military sites and two mortar shell firing sites” belonging to the Islamic Jihad movement in Gaza.

Medical sources in Gaza also reported that one person was killed and others injured in Israeli raids targeting a group of Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip.
Earlier Thursday, an Israeli was killed after a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip hit a building in the Rehovot settlement near Tel Aviv, according to Israeli media.
Meanwhile, Arab and international parties called for a ceasefire between Israel and the Gaza Strip, after 3 days of airstrikes and rocket fire between the two sides.
The US State Department said it continues to call on Palestinians and Israelis to take action to reduce violence.
In turn, European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell called for an “immediate truce” to halt Israeli operations in the Gaza Strip and rocket attacks on Israel.
On Thursday, the foreign ministers of Germany, France, Egypt and Jordan called for an end to the violence between Israel and the armed factions in Gaza.
“The bloodshed must stop now,” German Foreign Minister Analina Baerbock said after talks with her counterparts in Berlin.
