Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Zelenskyy traveled to Saudi Arabia to attend the summit

On May 19, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy flew to Saudi Arabia, where he is due to speak at the Arab League summit. Information about the visit is posted on the Ukrainian leader’s Telegram channel.

During the trip, Zelenskyy is also due to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman al-Saud and hold other bilateral negotiations.

The Ukrainian leader intends to talk about his “peace formula” and “involve as many states as possible in its implementation”. Zelenskyy’s plan includes the imposition of new sanctions against Russia, a severance of relations and a tribunal due to hostilities. Zelenskyy also plans to provide military and financial aid to Ukraine.

Previously, the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine confirmed that Volodymyr Zelenskyy would not attend the G7 summit in Hiroshima. Instead, it will perform online.
