Last weekend, American boxer Devin Haney defended his championship belts in a duel against Ukrainian Vasily Lomachenko.
All the judges gave the victory to the American, although he was then harshly criticized by many athletes, coaches and pundits.
In their opinion, Lomachenko was better. And in this context, his team would have met to ask the federation for an immediate revenge.
However, Haney’s reps have said any revenge talk is now completely unfounded.
This position was supported by the father of American boxer Bill Haney, who said there was no reason to talk about a second fight.
