Occupied Jerusalem – agencies:
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement that Israeli forces shot dead three Palestinians in the Balata refugee camp in the occupied West Bank early yesterday.
The official Palestinian News Agency stated that the Israeli forces stormed the Balata refugee camp in the city of Nablus, accompanied by bulldozers and military vehicles, and prevented ambulances from entering the camp.
The camp is witnessing strong clashes after the occupation forces stormed it from several axes under the pretext of arresting “wanted persons”.
The Palestinian Presidency condemned the Israeli incursion into Balata refugee camp and the city of Nablus.
Presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said that what happened in the camp is a real massacre and a continuation of the all-out war against the Palestinian people.
Abu Rudeineh held the Israeli government fully responsible for this continuous escalation, the ongoing crimes, and the policy of collective punishment, as he put it.
Abu Rudeineh called on the American administration to intervene immediately to stop what he described as Israeli madness, adding that the silence of the American administration encouraged the Israeli occupation to persist in its aggression.
