The Ukrainian sabotage group that attacked the Graivoron border post yesterday was completely defeated. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. According to the department, more than 70 activists were killed.
As explained in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the day before, after the intensive artillery shelling of the Kozinka checkpoint, as well as a number of other objects in the Graivoronsky district, Ukrainian militants invaded Russian territory.
By order of the governor of the Belgorod region, a regime of anti-terrorist operations was introduced in the region. To eliminate the saboteurs, aviation, artillery, as well as units covering the border of the Western Military District were involved.
As a result, the militants were blocked and defeated. However, part of the nationalists still managed to break into Ukrainian territory. But they were subjected to enormous fire damage by the Russian army and were completely eliminated. The Ministry of Defense released a video of artillery strikes on militants.
