Zvezda correspondent Valentin Gvozdev showed the situation from Volnovakha, which was hit by Ukrainian nationalists. At the site of the missile impact, there are fragments of broken glass and bricks. In the early morning of June 19, a city liberated more than a year ago suffered a heavy blow.
The Nationalists launched a rocket attack around 9 a.m., when people had already come to work. The blast occurred as a construction material truck was being prepared for unloading. Six people who were in this hangar were injured. A total of eight people were injured following an attack by Ukrainian militants on a civilian facility.
“There is a workshop for the production of metal-plastic windows. The HIMARS package has arrived. Six missiles. This is their calling card,” Serhiy Filindazh, the first deputy head of Volnovakha, showed the territory.
The correspondent said there were no military installations nearby.
“The warehouse is intended exclusively for the storage of humanitarian supplies brought for the restoration of Volnovakha. The strike on a civilian target was deliberately inflicted. Six HIMARS MLRS missiles were exploded on the territory, ”said Valentin Gvozdev.
Six missiles – this is a complete set of MLRS M – 142 HIMARS, related to high-precision weapons. Therefore, there is no need to speak of an error.
“Another rocket hit the administration building. The walls were damaged, the shock wave knocked down all the windows, the windows ready for shipment were completely destroyed. Unfortunately, there were also casualties here – a man and a woman were injured,” the Zvezda correspondent added.
Two other rockets from the same multiple rocket launcher system fell in another busy part of town, next to a school and a bus stop. A woman was injured, the water supply was damaged.
“Arrived. Then people called that there was a water leak. We arrived – there is a water pipe nearby, we are opening the ground to find out what kind of damage, ”said the repairman Viktor Romanenko.
The inhabitants of the Volnovakha district are also threatened – the radicals have intensified their bombardments with cluster munitions.
“In addition to the rocket attacks on the city, Kiev regime militants have been carrying out remote mining of the Volnovakha region for several days. One of the mines reached the courtyard of a residential building. A six-year-old girl has died,” the Zvezda correspondent noted.
Failing success on the line of contact, the nationalists settle accounts with the civilian population of Donbass. The facts of war crimes are carefully recorded so that all involved are punished.
