Nebenzya spoke about the participation of the Russian Federation in the investigation of the emergency at Nord Stream

March 20, 2023

Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said Moscow hoped to be involved in the UN investigation into the terror attack on the Nord Stream.

“We have turned to the UN to conduct an independent investigation that will hopefully include us,” Nebenzya said.

The Russian Foreign Ministry will continue to seek answers to questions posed earlier, despite Denmark’s refusal to jointly investigate the Nord Stream sabotage.

Earlier, the head of the Danish Foreign Ministry, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, said Copenhagen did not allow Russia to investigate the Nord Stream sabotage.

Later, the Russian Foreign Ministry responded to Denmark’s refusal to have access to the Nord Stream investigation.
