A draft law on the specifics of the recruitment of Russian Guard troops has been submitted to the State Duma

The State Duma of the Russian Federation will consider a draft law on the recruitment of troops of the National Guard (Rosguard), introduced on the initiative of the head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Deputy Alexander Khinshtein.

The bill contains a number of key proposals. The first is to send former Russian guard soldiers to their department for mobilization, both for military and police service.

The second proposal is to provide the possibility of concluding short-term contracts, up to 1 year, for the Russian Guard Police Service to perform tasks under special conditions, including in the area of ​​​​a military operation special.

The third proposal is to exclude the age limit for entry into service in the National Guard for people of working age. Previously, soldiers and junior commanders were recruited under the age of 35, officers – up to 40.
